Pat McGrath (MBE)
Titled by vogue as “the most influential makeup artist in the world”, Pat McGrath has gained MBE status for her contribution to the fashion and beauty industry. Alongside her own makeup line, she leads teams at fashion week for designers including Prada, Mui Mui, Comme des Garcons and Dolce and Gabbana. She regularly shoots with industry giants such as Steven Meisel, Paolo Roversi and Helmut Newton.
Best known for: Bold, statement designs, strong use of colour, preference for using hands over brushes.

Former creative director of Illamasqua, Alex Box is renowned for her experimental and often surreal beauty looks. She is currently Beauty Editor for Berlin’s cult fashion and art magazine, ‘King Kong Magazine’. Her editorial work has featured in publications including Vogue, Numero, W, Another Magazine, Dazed & Confused and i-D. Celebrity clients have included Lady Gaga, Kate Moss, Frank Ocean, Sienna Miller and Courtney Love. Alex has created some of the iconic makeup looks seen on the runway for designers including Gareth Pugh, Karl Lagerfeld, Alexander McQueen, Vivienne Westwood and Chanel.
Best known for: Unconventional use of materials and finishes. Heavily influenced by fine art.

As global beauty director for YSL, Tom Pecheux is one of the biggest names backstage, having created catwalk looks for designers including Chanel, Balmain, Lanvin and Emilio Pucci. Since starting his career as an assistant to Linda Cantello, he has worked with legendary fashion photographers including Mario Testino, Patrick Demarchelier and Craig McDean. Prior to his independent success, Tom started out his career as an assistant for Linda Cantello. He is also recognised for being a crucial contributor in the success of the makeup brand Shiseido.

Val Garland is celebrated for her self described "dark and romantic style". Over the last two decades she has worked on various projects, ranging from highly conceptual looks for Alexander McQueen runways, to celebrity shoots with Kate Moss. She regularly contributes to publications such as Vogue, Dazed & Confused, i-D and Visionaire, working with the likes of Nick Knight and Mario Testino, John Galliano, Chloë Sevigny and Björk. Her innovative ideas have established her firmly as one of the industry greats.
Best known for: Unconventional designs, often quite gothic and dark

Pati Dubroff is one of Hollywood’s most respected makeup artists, who has gained a loyal celebrity clientele including Gwyneth Paltrow, Kate Bosworth, Naomi Watts, Jessica Biel, Miley Cyrus, Ellen DeGeneres and Eva Mendes. Pati’s work has been published in American Vogue, Vanity Fair, Harper’s Bazaar, W, Instyle, Glamour, Allure and Elle, collaborating with many top fashion photographers including Peter Lindbergh, Annie Leibovitz and Patrick Demarchelier.
Best known for: Celebrity clients, glossy, commercially "beautiful" makeup.
